Spicy Pumpkin Butter
INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed          Spicy Pumpkin Butter
2 tbs. sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1-1/2 cup pumpkin pure, canned or freshly prepared
DIRECTIONS:
  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the pumpkin puree.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are totally incorporated.
  3. Add pumpkin pure and mix well until smooth.
  4. Refrigerate pumpkin butter. It can be stored in freezer.
YIELD: Makes 2 cups
