Pumpkin Pie with Yam
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup baked pumpkin                               Pumpkin Pie with Yam
3/4 cup baked yam
1 cup whole milk
2 eggs
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon allspice
One unbaked 9-inch pie crust
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. In large bowl or blender, mix all of the ingredients until smooth.
  3. Pour mixture into the pie crust.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes at 425F.
  5. Lower heat to 300F and bake another 30-40 minutes (or until knife inserted near center of pie comes out clean).
YIELD: Serves 8-10
